TRIO Student Support Services Program

Federally funded program that provides intensive academic and career services to first -generation college students, who are United States citizens or permanent residents and are considered income eligible based on federal income guidelines.

Our Mission

• To foster an institutional climate supportive to the success of low-income and first -generation college students at the College of the Redwoods, Del Norte campus.
• To increase college retention and graduation rates for eligible students.
• To increase the transfer rates of eligible students from our community college to a 4-year university.

The Student Support Services Program is a grant funded, U.S. Department of Education TRIO program.
