CalOSHA requires forklift operators be trained on initial assignment every three years or
when an unsafe incident occurs. Training is composed of classroom instruction and a
driving test. This workshop will enable owners/managers to conduct training of their
own employees.

which apply and which do not. Cal OSHA has over 8,160 Safety Orders. Some orders
apply to all employers and others depend on your equipment, materials and processes.

This
workshop will cover the basics of Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations
pertaining to hazardous materials and hazardous waste for small businesses. Also
covered will be those items of waste that are hazardous but have differing
handling and disposal methods than the more traditional hazardous waste.
Participants will learn what constitutes universal waste.

Fifteen percent of businesses suffering a disaster never reopen. This workshop will focus
on emergency preparedness from the two perspectives of protecting employees as required
