What do you love most about teaching at CR?
There is a lot to love about teaching at CR. I grew up around here and was a CR graduate myself. I?m very happy being back at CR as an instructor. It allows me to give back to the community and school that got me started. I also really enjoy getting to know the 50 to 60 new students I meet each semester.
What do you love most about your discipline?
Two things: first, there is a flexibility you get to enjoy as an artist. You can spend years working on one type of subject, when suddenly you might completely change the direction of your work. There is a lot of freedom in that. Also, being an artist is very challenging. You are always striving for improvement or new ideas. Considering this combination of flexibility and challenge, it?s certain to never become boring.
