Persistence

Persistence Definition: A student persists when he/she continues to enroll from one term to the next term (Approved June 1996)

Persistence Rate: Percent of students enrolled in next term(s) out of students enrolled in first term
The persistence rate is calculated by dividing the numerator by the denominator and multiplying by 100

-------Persistence Numerator: Number of students enrolled in at least 6 units at census in the next term
-------Persistence Denominator: Number of NEW students enrolled in at least 6 units at census in the first term

The following Persistence Reports only look at students whose Declared Educational Goals are either to obtain a Degree or to Transfer
