Susan Quintana
Susan graduated from HSU with a Bachelors in English Education with an emphasis in Writing Practices. She recently graduated from the Credential program at HSU with her single-subject credential in English/Language Arts. She also has extensive training in working with English language learners. She has spent the last year and a half working as a substitute teacher for local middle and high schools. She has lived in Humboldt for the past four and a half years, but was born and raised in Fresno. Her passions outside of teaching are cooking for friends and family, singing, and writing poetry and short stories.

Julie Reinman
In 2002, at the age of 41, Julie began studies at California Baptist University.  With a BA in Psychology (2006) and a BA in Mathematics (HSU 2009), she went on to earn her single-subject mathematics credential. Her recent experience as a guidance counselor for a local high school has uniquely prepared her as a tutor for EOPS.  When Julie is not tutoring, she is singing with the Ferndale Community Choir.  ?It makes sense to me, there is math in music, music is beautiful and as my professor Dr. Frank Pankowski says, ?Math is beautiful.??

Julie tutors all levels of math, including higher level math such as statistics and calculus, as well as the following classes:

John Reinman
John worked in the lumber industry until mid-life.  At age 43 he entered college and received a BA from Stanislaus State University in Physical Sciences, with a minor in Biology.  He received his teaching credentials in 1993 and taught in the Central Valley of California for 13 years.  For the last 5 years he has been tutoring in mathematics through algebra and science though physics. He has a son and seven grandchildren in Sweden and a daughter in Oregon and a granddaughter in the Air Force stationed in Great Falls, Montana.  He sings in the Ferndale Community Choir.
