Counseling and Advising Center Services

The CR Eureka Counseling and Advising Center provides services to help students determine their aptitudes, plan educational programs, choose their careers, acquire needed educational/occupational information and resolve related personal problems.

Students can receive assistance from the Counseling and Advising Center in the following areas:

  • Academic Advising
  • Career Counseling/Decision Making
  • Educational Planning/Student Education Plan*
Students are encouraged to follow this plan and should meet with a counselor regularly to discuss progress and update the SEP as needed.
  • Crisis intervention on most days for students who have quick questions.

Advisors and counselors are available to meet with students on a walk-in basis.  Appointments are necessary for some types of advising.  Please stop by the Counseling and Advising Center (upstairs in the Administration building (room AD204) or call 707.476.4150, so we may assist you.

During peak registration periods (usually the first two weeks of each semester) availability of appointments may be limited and counselors will be available on a walk-in basis only.
