2015 Baseball Coaching Staff
Bob Brown – Head Coach 15th Season
Bob is returning for his 15th season as head coach and the 48th season for the Corsairs baseball. Coach Brown has compiled 158 wins during his tenure at CR which ranks 2nd behind Hall of Fame Coach Tom Giacomini (342). Originally from Calgary, Alberta Canada, Bob played his college baseball at Treasure Valley Community College (86-88) in Ontario, OR & Eastern Oregon University (89-91) in LaGrande, OR. Bob began his college coaching career as an assistant at CR in the fall of 1996. He earned his Master’s Degree in Kinesiology in 2001 from Humboldt State University. Bob and his wife Debby have two daughters, Bailey 7 & Daylin 4 and reside in Eureka, CA.
Brad Morgan – Assistant Coach – Hitting Instructor 2nd Season
Brad is entering his second year with the Corsairs as an assistant coach and will be working with the catcher’s and the serve as a hitting instructor. Brad also serves as an associate faculty member at the College teaching in both Kinesiology and General Studies. Brad played for the Corsairs in 2006 & 2007 where he earned 1st team All-Conference honors. Brad went on to play at Div II New Mexico Highlands in 2009 & 2010. Brad earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Kinesiology at Highlands while serving as the strength and conditioning coach for both the baseball and wrestling program from 2011-2013. Brad also has played 3 seasons and coached for 3 seasons with the semi-pro baseball program Humboldt Crabs
Spencer Duggan – Assistant Coach – Infield Coach 2nd Season
Spencer is entering his 2nd season with the Corsairs and will be in charge of the infielder’s assist with hitting and handle 3rd base coaching duties. Spencer played for the Corsairs in 2009 & 2010 where he earned All-Conference honors. He then played at NAIA Bellevue University in Nebraska in 2011 & 2012. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in the fall of 2013. Spencer also played in parts of three seasons and has coached one with the Humboldt Crabs. He was their Most Valuable Player in 2012. Currently Spencer also plays summer semi-pro baseball with the Humboldt B-52’s.
Andrew Bradshaw – Assistant Coach – Pitching Coach 1st Season
Andrew joins the Corsairs as pitching coach and is entering his 1st season. Andrew played four years of college baseball at San Jose State University (2010-2013) where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Communications. Andrew pitched two summers with the Humboldt Crabs (2012-2013). Andrew has also pitched for the semi-pro Humboldt B-52’s and last summer signed with Independent organization San Rafael Pacifics.
